Coin and button cells

Keep small cells secured and away from children. A swallowed or inserted coin cell is an urgent emergency; follow local emergency and poison-control guidance immediately.

Prevent short circuits

Do not carry loose batteries with keys, coins or metal tools. Never bridge terminals while measuring or installing a cell.

Do not recharge primary cells

Recharge only batteries explicitly marked rechargeable, using a charger designed for that chemistry and voltage.

Stop on damage

Do not use swollen, leaking, overheated, punctured or corroded cells. Follow manufacturer and local disposal guidance.
