Compatibility methodology
A battery is compatible only when the relevant physical, electrical and application requirements align.
Exact match
Two markings resolve to one canonical profile, or the reviewed specifications align on dimensions, chemistry, voltage and the relevant drain behavior.
Conditional match
The case and nominal voltage may align while chemistry, drain profile, capacity curve or application behavior differs. The device maker must explicitly permit the alternative.
Not compatible
A material mismatch in dimensions, voltage, terminal layout, rechargeable system or application prevents a responsible direct-replacement recommendation.
Finite publication
The catalog contains 122 canonical profiles, 220 reviewed comparisons and 78 dimension groups. It does not publish every possible pair.
